I had the pleasure of photographing the Michelin-trained chef Elijah Arizmendi at his beautiful restaurant Lucien in La Jolla, California. His cooking blends French and Japanese technique with hyper-seasonal California ingredients, sourced through close relationships with local farmers, fishermen, and artisans.
